Chesapeake Semester
Courses
This is a four course, 16 credit, semester long program that engages a select group of students each fall. Only 12 students will participate in the first year (fall of 2009). The four courses will be offered out of the Chesapeake Regional Studies concentration. You will receive four different grades, one for each course, based on assessments, essays, participation, and a final project.
The four interdisciplinary courses span the three academic divisions of the college:
- CRS 240: The Natural Science of an Estuary – Prof. Donald Munson
- CRS 242: The Social Science of an Estuary – Prof. John Seidel
- CRS 244: A Humanities Perspective on the Chesapeake – Profs. Donald McColl & Sean Meehan
- CRS 246: Interdisciplinary Study of an Estuary: Integration and Action – Prof. John Seidel
